Bridget Steiner, N.P.

Bridget

As Denver's premier practice for hand and upper extremity conditions,
Hand Surgery Associates has a staff of highly trained medical and support professionals who provide the utmost in care to our patients at every stage of their treatment.

Our staff includes Bridget Steiner, NP (Nurse Practitioner).  Including a Nurse Practitioner on our team ensures that each patient receives care quickly and efficiently.  A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse who receives advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of certain medical conditions.  Most nurse practitioners have a master's degree, and they must be certified.  Nurse practitioners are able to diagnose problems and prescribe medications within their scope of practice.

At Hand Surgery Associates, one of Bridget's main roles is to extend the services of the physicians by accommodating patients with more urgent and acute needs. Bridget works closely with the doctor on call, who is able to see the patient if necessary. If the treatment plan includes surgery, this can be arranged under guidance from the physician as well.

Bridget received a Master of Nursing degree from Montana State University-Bozeman, and received her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Creighton University.  She has worked in the nursing profession since 2003 in a variety of settings, including family practice and inpatient critical care.  Prior to joining Hand Surgery Associates, Bridget spent a foundational year as a NP in family practice here in Denver.
