Dr. Clinkscales is a fellowship-trained, orthopaedic hand and upper extremity surgeon who joined Hand Surgery Associates in 1998. After completing a degree in Religion from Davidson College in 1985, he moved on to his medical education at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Clinkscales then moved on to his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, after which he completed his fellowship at the Indiana Hand Center. His prestigious CV includes time spent as the President of the Rocky Mountain Hand Surgery Society, Board member of the Denver Medical Society, and Assistant Professor to the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Consistently ranked by 5280 Magazine as one of Denver's top doctors in 2007, 2008, and 2009, Dr. Clinkscales both continues his education and contributes to medical education through his presentations and publications on cutting-edge techniques in hand and upper extremity care.
