In order to provide outstanding care from start to finish, Hand Surgery Associates, P.C., is proud to be the only specialty practice that maintains an on-site ambulatory surgical center specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. Hand Surgery of Colorado, owned by the physician partners of Hand Surgery Associates and Porter Hospital, is located on the same floor of Hand Surgery Associates in the Porter Medical Plaza. Having this facility allows us to maintain the highest standard of care from your initial visit to the Emergency Room, to your possible surgical procedure with a physician at Hand Surgery Associates, to any hand therapy that may be required for your rehabiliation.  From start to finish, we've got your care covered. 

HSC gained accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC) in 2001, and since then has received two successful operation commendations from as a result of site visits by government licensing agencies. The surgical center provides compassionate care for 3,400 patients annually, adhering to the highest standard of care from start to finish. The two main operating rooms and one minor procedure room are utilized five days a week for a wide variety of hand and upper extremity procedures, ranging from the simplest to the most complex. Working jointly with twenty-six staff members and forty on-staff anesthesiologists, the physicians at Hand Surgery Associates utilize this on-site ASC to ensure your convenience and comfort.

The center implements Continuous Quality Improvement studies in an effort to maintain the highest levels of patient care and service.
