Rudy Kovachevich, M.D.
Rudy Kovachevich, M.D. is a board eligible hand and upper extremity surgeon. He attended Augustana College in Illinois and graduated Summa cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Pre Medicine. Dr. Kovachevich received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. After finishing his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the Mayo Clinic, he went to the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center where he completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery. Dr. Kovachevich came to Hand Surgery Associates directly following the completion of his fellowship in 2012.
Dr. Kovachevich is highly trained in surgery of the hand, elbow and shoulder. He has published numerous articles and presented lectures about a variety of hand, elbow and shoulder conditions. He maintains membership in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and is a Candidate Member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Dr. K, as he is often called, has a wonderful personality and is a welcome addition to the Hand Surgery Associates team.
